and as always is a great opportunity 

to promote our beautiful Greece -

The ULTIMATE Tourist Destination!

Here at Global Greek World it is the day we launch our Greek Photo Competition every year on our Global Greek World Facebook Page to showcase this magnificent country of ours.

2022 set all sorts of records - it was a wonderful year for tourism in Greece and we are thrilled that so many people chose Greece for their holidays/extended vacations!
We are also thrilled that so many of our friends managed to get here this year for the first time after 3 long and difficult years and we look forward to it being a record year for entries!

Here goes for our 11th Annual Greek Photo Competition! 

We've set up the album for 2022, now it is over to YOU!

The rules are simple:

Everyone can enter! 

All it takes is a photo that you have taken yourself, anytime, anywhere in Greece that we can add to the album so that people can vote. 

Maximum number of entries per person is 3. 

Send us the photo(s)you would like to enter in the competition either by emailing us directly or by clicking on our Facebook Page, liking it and sending your photo(s) to us via our Facebook Message facility. This year we recommend emailing because for some reason last year, the quality of the photo we ended up with via the Send Message facility didn't do the photo justice at all!

You can send in your favourite photos of Greece until the new closing date for entries, Friday 4th November, extended by a week from Oxi Day, Friday, 28 October 2022 by popular demand.

After that voting begins in earnest!

You can vote for all the picture(s) you like...with a 'like'.

The picture with the greatest number of 'Likes' 
when the competition closes (sometime in December) wins....

It's been such a tough year for our hospitality and travel industry but...

1st Prize

Andy wins a wins a two night stay for two at the stylish four star Alfa Beach Hotel in Kolymbia Rhodes, on an All Inclusive basis. Kolymbia is conveniently situated between the magnificent medieval city of Rhodes and beautiful, historic and picturesque Lindos. 

This prize was donated by the Alfa Beach team who are looking forward to welcoming Andy and partner sometime in 2017! We're sure they'll love every minute!
